Turkey-Thankful Bulletin Board

Create the turkey in the using a 9x12 piece of construction paper for
the body and a 8x8 piece of construction paper for the head.  Cut a large
 "feathers" from tagboard for each child.  Have the children take their
feather home and have their family help them decorate it making sure
to write what they are thankful for.  Make a middle feather from tagboard
and write "We are Thankful For..."  When the children bring their
feathers back to school, discuss the items they are thankful and assemble
the bulletin board as shown.  A note to send home for the family is
available for you to print.  Make sure to fill in the dates.
