5 Little Rodins in the Nest



Purchase a brown chore gloves.  Print the pattern and rhyme.  Cut five
red ovals, ten brown wings, and five yellow beaks from felt.  Using the
picture as a guide, hot glue the pieces to the gardening glove.  Use a
sharpie marker to dot the eyes.  Use the glove with the following rhyme.

Five little robins sitting in the nest
The 1^st one said, “I’m going to give my wings a test.”
The 2^nd one said, “Let’s fly out of this tree.”
The 3^rd one said, “Flying scares me.”
The 4^th one said, “Spread your wings and try.”
The 5^th one said, “Look, I can fly!”
So all the little robins, flew into the sky
and all cried out, “Good-bye, good-bye.”
