Earth Day Necklace from a Milk Jug Lid
Take a milk jug lid. Use an Exacto knife or
a large darning needle to
"drill" two holes into the side of a milk jug lid. Thread a
piece of yarn
through the holes. Print the earth page. Give one to
each child. Have them
color it and glue to the lid. Have them string blue and green
beads on the
yarn to create a pattern. If you would like to make a bracelet
instead,
"drill" the holes across from each other.
