Tying Practice with a Football
Print the page of your choice on a heavy weight paper. Cut the football
out. Laminate. Lay the football on a hard surface that can be ruined.
A scrap piece of wood works great. Put a hollow hole punch over the circle
and hit it with a hammer. A hole will form. Continue on until all of
the holes are punched out. Take a shoe string and lace it through the
holes. Have the children practice tying the lace.
