Groundhog Weather Display
Make
this large direction art Groundhog at this link. Print the Today
the weather is
page and glue it to the groundhog's stomach.
Laminate.
Print
the weather cards and cut them out. Laminate.
Fold a piece of construction paper hamburger style leaving about 1
1/2" at the top. Glue
the sides down to make a pouch. Print the What is the Weather
saying and glue that to
the front of the pouch. Laminate. Take an exacto knife
and cut the slit open. Store the
weather cards in the pouch. Put velcro on the backs of the
weather cards and a piece
on the dotted box on the groundhog's stomach.
Have the children observe the weather then find the corresponding
weather card.
Then velcro the card in place.
