Story Retelling for
The Gruffalo
Print the page.
Students color the pictures, cut out
Gruffalo and the two strips
(on the dotted lines only).
The two strips get glued together (on one tab) to make one long
strip.
Cut the two dotted lines on
Gruffalo's
stomach and pull the long strip through the holes so
that the pictures show in front of Gruffalo. Glue the second
tab to the opposite end of the
strip so
that the pictures form a loop and won't come apart from Gruffalo.
Students can pull
the strip through
again and again as they retell the story of Gruffalo.
