Hockey Ice Cube Skaters



Print a page on cardstock.  Cut apart.  Have the children color
their hockey player.  Staple the hockey player to a popsicle stick.  Fill a
Dixie cup with water.  Put a piece of tin foil over the top.  Poke a hole in
the tin foil.  Put the popsicle stick in hole leaving the hockey player sticking
out.  Put the hole thing in the freezer.  Wait until frozen.  Take the
player out.  Remove the Dixie cup.  Let the children slide the ice cube
hockey player across the table.  As it melts, the player will slide
faster.  It will twirl as well.
