Humpty Directional Art
This activity is not designed to
be used as an art activity. It is designed to
be
a listening activity that features art.

To make Humpty, you will need the following list of
construction paper for each child.
Body - White- 17" x 12"
Pants - Blue-12" x 8"
Legs - White 2 1/4" x 9"
Shoes - Cut 2 - Black 3" x 4 1/2"
Buckle - Yellow - 3 1/2" x 3 1/2" -
Black - 2" x 2"
Belt - Black - 12" x 2 1/4"
Eyes - Black - 3" x 1 1/2"
Mouth - Red - 3 3/4" x 3/4"
Hands - Red - Trace Child's Hands
Glue the blue to the white as shown.
Have the children round the edges to
make an oval.
Glue the black belt piece to the middle
of the paper on top of the blue pants.
Glue the yellow buckle piece to the
middle of the belt.
Glue the small black buckle piece to the
middle of the yellow piece.
Fold the leg piece in half. Cut on
the fold line. Glue legs to body.
For the shoes, round the edge of one
corner. Glue to leg.
Repeat for the other shoe.
For the mouth, round two corners off.
Glue in place.
For the eyes, fold in half. Cut on
fold. Round all of the corners and
glue in place.
For the hands give each child a piece of
construction paper.
Trace their hands. Cut them out
and glue on.
