Bead Count for Mardi Gras



Print the page on cardstock.  Cut out, including the dotted line and
 circle.  Hook the cardstock piece onto a beaded necklace.  This will
hold the child's place.  Now have the child count how many beads are
on their strand of beads.  Once they get back to the cardstock tag,
they will know that they counted all the beads.  This is a great activity
to get children counting in larger increments.  Have the children compare
their results.  You may need to purchase several different brands and
types of necklaces if you want the children to have a variety of results.
