Penguin Bow Tie Math Mat with Graph Option



In advance, color bow tie pasta so you have red, yellow, green and blue
pasta.  Print base pages in either black and white or color.  Print a
couple copies of the cards.  Cut and laminate both the base pages and
 the cards.  Give each child a base page.  Have the children pick a card
 then identify the number and color of the bows on the card.  Have
 them put the appropriate number and color of bow tie pasta pieces
 on the penguins. 
If you are working with younger children, help them count and figure
 out which color of bow ties they have the most of.  If you are working
 with older children, print the graph and have them complete it.
