Class
Book of Talents
This is
designed to be used with the book The Christmas Penguin by Mary
Packard and Teri Weidner. It is a really special book. They penguin in
the story wants to fly and
help Santa deliver present.
He feels so bad that
he can’t fly, but Santa ends up needs him to
swim. On the last page
Santa tells Rollie the Penguin, “You’re my special elf. So always
remember:
Be Proud of Yourself.”
 After
reading the book, talk to your kids about the special talent that
Rollie has…swimming.
Then have them talk about the talents that they
have. Below are the
pages you can use to
make a class book about
the special talents they have. Give each
child their own page to
illustrate. Print one of the front cover mount it on construction
paper.
Get another
piece of construction paper for the back cover. Laminate the
covers
for durability and bind.
