Itsy Bitsy Spider Emergent Reader
Print the pages
below. Cut the pages apart on the dotted lines. Assemble
and bind the pages to
make a book. Hole punch through all the pages at the
dot on
the top left corner of the front
page. Tie a 12" piece of yarn into
the hole. Tie a cheap
plastic ring spider (found in the
Halloween section of
you area discount store) to the other end of
the yarn. Cut out the
sun piece.
Fold it on the line. Glue the sun piece to
box on page three of the book.
The sun
should now be able to fold up and down. Color the pages,
adding
rain drops to the cloud page. Now
start singing/reading the book,
manipulating the spider and the sun piece
as you go.
