Valentine Color Recognition Felt Board
This is designed for little ones who are learning
their colors. Print the pages below. Using the
basket pattern, cut a basket from brown felt. Cut several
hearts from a variety of colors. Put the
basket and hearts on the felt board. Pick a child and then
say, "A
tisket, a tasket, put the green
hearts in the basket. A tisket, a tasket, put the green
hearts in the basket". Have the child come
up and put the specified color of hearts in the basket.
It is a lot of fun to cut out many hearts of each color and place
them all around your classroom.
Take a real basket and have the children put the hearts in the
basket as you sing the tune.
