Carrot Glove Puppet with Rhymes



To make these, you will need a pair of ladies black stretch knit gloves. 
Print the pattern and rhymes.  Cut the carrots and stems from felt as directed.  Hot glue the pieces to the gloves.  Put the gloves on the use during your circle time with the rhymes provided.  These are designed to be used with the Peter Rabbit story.  You can easily change the names as you wish.

Tune:  Up on the Housetop
Look in the garden,
There I see
Ten little carrots growing merrily
Peter came and ate one
Oops, Oh No!!
Now there’s only Nine carrots in the row.

Tune:  Ten Little Indians
Mr. McGregor had
1 little, 2 little, 3 little carrots
4 little, 5 little, 6 little carrots
7 little, 8 little, 9 little carrots
10 little carrots for his family to eat.

 Oh Peter ate
1 little, 2 little, 3 little carrots
4 little, 5 little, 6 little carrots
7 little, 8 little, 9 little carrots
Now there’s now for McGregor to eat.
